This one-of-a-kind expansion joint compression seal installation tool squeezes rubber compression seal material together using hydraulic pressure and, when aligned over an expansion joint opening, allows the seal to be pressed into the opening where it then expands to fill the void. Prior to insertion, a lubricating adhesive is applied to each side of the seal which helps facilitate insertion into the joint opening. The lubricant cures in approximately 24 hours, bonding the rubber seal to the sides of the opening and creating a watertight barrier that expands and contracts during temperature extremes. The Mity Mite Seal Squeezer dramatically reduces installation time.
